DTL Audio started in the fall of 2023 as a passion project. I wanted to get back into the car audio scene and do something a little different. I had years of B2B sales, marketing, and promoting brands experience. My kids were driving by now and I wanted to come out with a quality product that the future generations could actually afford without sacrificing performance. I decided to take my skills and apply them to creating my own brand.

Now every brand could use a good catchphrase, something that sticks in your head. I watched a lot of wrestling in the 90's and am full of one liners from then so "Damn That's Loud" was born picturing the one and only Ron Simmons (no rights to the name nor specific reference made) saying it lol.

After attending Made of Steel 2024 I found the game had changed quite a bit and I needed to change my approach to products. I could not focus on stealth subs and quality component sets alone when the majority are playing louder with more power than ever before.

Fast forward to 2026 and we have grown our product line to 15 different models with more being released and being revised this year. From entry level to Pro to Competition series, we have a little something for everyone. We will not be the biggest or the absolute loudest, but we will continue to provide quality products at or above the quality of other mid tier brands, while maintaining our prices at or below the competition. All while providing the best customer service and support we possibly can.
